About ‘Heart of Sevenoaks’
Heart of Sevenoaks is an online platform, connecting the community with local events, leisure and businesses in and around Sevenoaks, Kent.
Here at Heart of Sevenoaks, our heart lies in the Sevenoaks community and we have a passionate drive to enhance excitement within the area by showcasing great leisure activities and businesses, whilst also hosting exciting events.
The platform was launched in the summer of 2020 by Caroline Druce-Smith. The initial aim focused on the promotion of local events, acting as a, ‘What’s On?’ guide for the residents of Sevenoaks, in a fresh and exciting way.
‘Sevenoaks Business Showcase’ launched in January 2021. The online business directory and linked social media provide a hub for local companies to gain further awareness within the community.
In the summer of 2021, Heart of Sevenoaks launched a series of events, creating new experiences in the Sevenoaks area, whilst showcasing great local talent, food, and drink. Heart of Sevenoaks now run multiple exciting local events including Rhythm in Oaks Festival, Sevenoaks Street Food Festival, Comedy in the Garden and Summertime Movie Nights.
New projects are in the pipeline for the upcoming 2024 event series.
